Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) are used to provide data for compliance with regulatory requirements for the control, monitoring and reporting of pollutant emissions. CEMS can include monitors for CO, CO2<\/sub>, H2<\/sub>S, NO, NO2<\/sub>, SO2<\/sub>, O2<\/sub>, THC, Hg, HCl or Opacity.<\/p>\n CEMS are either in-situ, meaning the measurement is performed in the stack or duct, or extractive, where the gas is removed from the stack or duct and transported to the analyzers.<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Extractive CEMS can be\u00a0straight extractive, utilizing a vacuum pump to draw the sample from the stack to the CEMS; or dilution extractive, where a precision eductor uses very clean air to extract a sample while\u00a0diluting it, then deliver the sample to the analyzer(s).<\/p>\n The primary equipment and services provided by CAI include: gas analyzers, sample gas conditioning systems, probes, sample lines, calibration gases, data acquisition and reporting systems, CEMS (sole-source suppliers), portable stack gas analyzers and stack testing services.
