ATTORNEY PROFILE

Steven C. Bullock
While many lawyers’ struggles for justice begin in a law office or a courtroom, Steven C. Bullock, P.C. of Steven Bullock Law began his journey sensing and touching the world’s quest for justice in a much closer fashion.
After graduating from Purdue University in 1971, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, during a time when the United States was embroiled in crisis. He soon found himself submerged in the jungles of Southeast Asia as part of a Special Operations unit for two tours during the Vietnam War.
With this background, Bullock decided to continue dedicating his life to law and justice when his tour of duty was over. He graduated from Detroit College of Law in 1985 and immediately began practicing criminal law from his office in Southfield, MI.
In April of 1989, he moved his office to Inkster, MI, where he has been serving his community as a criminal defense attorney ever since. His areas of practice include adult and juvenile criminal cases with misdemeanor or felony charges, such as drunk driving, drug crimes, domestic violence, assault crimes, murder, weapons offenses, larceny, and more. He also practices family and divorce law, helping the people of his community through the complex legal proceedings of these events.
He was recognized for his service to the people of Michigan through his listing as one of the Detroit Business Journal’s Top Lawyers. He was also featured in the February 2011 Criminal Defense Newsletter published by the Michigan State Appellate Defender Office.
Attorney Bullock is a member of the Criminal Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan; a member of the Rules and Laws committee for the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan; a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; and secretary of the Wayne County Criminal Defense Bar Association.
In addition to these credentials, Mr. Bullock is also a member of the American Civil Liberties Union, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Suburban Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association.
Attorney Bullock has also been admitted to practice in the State of Michigan, Michigan State Supreme Court, the Michigan Court of Appeals, all Michigan Circuit and District Courts, as well as the Federal Courts, the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
